Are the Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs in sudden death?  Or sudden life?

It’s upsetting to think that the last time we saw the team on the ice was when we were staring down the barrel of sudden death overtime against the Colorado Eagles only to suffer another heartache of our team being swept from the playoffs.

Little did we know at the time that the heartache we felt was going to appear quite small in comparison to the sucker punch that was flung our way a few weeks later.

Of all the bad news that has come about since the economy began putting a pinch on us all, the news of the Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs having economic problems and more, is something that effects us all. The economy has put a scare into everybody to slow down on spending and wait to see if it makes an upward swing. To think a sports franchise is immune is unrealistic.

The Mr. Maddens of the world must have a higher level of consideration to his own financial situation surrounding their own businesses and their families. It is no different than any of us fans having the responsibility of doing what’s best for our own as well. We may not like it, but when a decision is made of that magnitude, it is not made hastily.
